Story time! The figure I listed as Sanji Flame Kick was my first purchase of anything "useless" over $50. At the time, anime wasn't as big as it is now in the USA and it was rare to find a shop that sold anime figures. It was priced at I think $55 and I paced the store for about two hours on how badly I wanted it. The pose is wonderful, the fire spirialing looks cool and you can tell it will be a strong kick, it makes a great study for me to see an action post at any angle. So this wasn't just a figure of a character I like, this could be used for educational purposes! And so I bought it, and for half an hour I trembled, looking at it in my hands, wondering if I should return it since I spent such a huge amount (to me) on something for myself. I can still visualize the store, and me holding it in the car. Is that something everyone gets? Or was it just because I was poor haha
